-Who's cuter?

I mention a lot how I find these guys beautiful, handsome, perfect! But who's cuter? There's an expression that says "for different tastes, different flavors" and that's the case with Il Volo. A fan may love all three equally, one more than another, or maybe even be obsessed with just one. I like Piero. My cousin likes Gianluca. And a lot of Instagram fans like Ignacio. It's really all about taste. Another thing would be what exactly is the interest? Is it just physical? Or do you love the exotic aspect? Maybe it's the voice. All beautifully unique as well. No matter what the case may be, you'll find something to love.

-Painfully Beautiful

I would be lying if I said that I'm not obsessed. But they're so beautiful <3 And I'm not just talking physically, but from intervie I look up I get a vibe that they're chill and nice. From they're pictures on Instagram and Facebook I see they're energetic and fun. They have a song called "Painfully Beautiful". It's so sweet. I use those words to describe them. "so beautiful it breaks my heart, I can't look away, it makes my heart ache". Having such a desire to know them hurts but also keeps my hope alive. I dreamt about them last night. I was going to a meet and greet with them and would have if I hadn't woken up. Anyway, my day will come. Check out the song! On my next blog I'll try to post music and/or videos.

-Il Volo in Miami

Yes, the concert was on Saturday. I held hope of going to it til the very last minute. But of course, miracles don't tend to happen to me. I was sad but tried to not beat myself up about it. I know I'll see them one day. I even feel I may one day meet the beauties. The next day they went to Orlando and had like three days of vacation and came back down. They were in Coco walk or some other fancy place around here. One day our paths will cross and I'll add them to my list of celebs that I've met :3

-Oh no!

The famous concert is this Saturday and I won't be attending! This is the saddest thing EVER. Once again I'm reminded that I will not be going. On Sunday I went to a baby shower and my mother randomly said "You know Il Volo is coming to Miami?" And I was like "Yeah!" She asked if I wanted to go. What type of question is that? Of course I do! But I know my mother. She always puts my hopes up so I didn't bother to even get excited. When I told her it was less than a week away she took back everything she said by stating that it was "too close". She's known for a while, so that was utter BS. Oh well, I guess I'll have to find something else to do on Saturday.

-Three voices, one soul

I never get tired of listening to Il Volo. While I drive, while cleaning, doing homework, even while I shower! They relax me in a way that I honestly can’t describe. It’s soothing. On my cell I only have like 10 songs but I play them over and over and love every second of it. If I’m upset, I turn to Il Volo. If I’m bored I look up interviews just hear their cute accents. And although I love Piero most of all, they all have a special place in my heart. Even Gianluca that seems a bit cocky to me sometimes. Their united “one soul” just seems to blend perfectly with mine. I’m starting to feel obsessed! And as the day for the concert approaches I keep hoping for a miracle. Magic ticket at my doorstep? Yes, please. If I had the money I would have bought the ticket in a heart beat. But I don’t :(I just hope I can one day buy their last CD. (We are love)

-Where to hear? Everywhere.

I’m dealing with a lot of Senior things in school right now, so I haven’t had as much time to think about Il Volo, sadly. From time to time I play the music, like at the gym yesterday. I usually don’t listen to such relaxing music while I work out because I need something to pump me up, not make me relaxed. However, towards the end of my workout and during my cool down, I decided to play it. I was mumbling the words while I was on the bike! I can’t stop. If I know the lyrics, I’m singing. Although I was nice enough not to sing at the top of my lungs. Two days ago I was even listening to them while doing dishes. I hate doing them! But good music makes the chore less dull. Last week, when I got home from school, I wanted to take a nap but wasn’t sleepy. I put Il Volo on, closed my eyes, and slowly drifted off. Il Volo, 24/7! I can’t get enough.

-New album, new tour

After many more performances and much more success (don’t want to bore you all), they created a new album! On November 19, 2012 Il Volo released their second album title “We are Love”. It hit number 100 in the Billboard top 200. A few months later they released the album is Spanish, titled Mas Que Amor and a special edition of the album, that includes new remakes of 5 classics (Picture Below). The new tour has already begun. They are currently touring North America (Aug-Sep). They will after tour Latin America from October to November. They come to Miami on September 21 and I really want to go! But doubt that I will. From comments I’ve read online, they give good performances and really make it worth your money. I saw them on a PBS special and I can honestly say that’s when I fell in love <3

-Members and success

I’ll start by age. Piero Barone, my favorite, was born on June 24, 1993, in Naro,  province of Agrigento, Sicily, in southern Italy. Ignazio Boschetto was born in Bologna, Emilia Romagna, in northern Italy on October 4, 1994, and grew up in Marsala, Sicily. Gianluca Ginoble was born on February 11, 1995, in Roseto degli Abruzzi (province of Teramo), in the Abruzzo region of central Italy. He grew up and continues to live in the nearby hilltop town of Montepagano. Their first self-titled album was recorded in 2010 in the Abbey Road Studios in London and produced by Tony Renis and Humberto Gatica. It was released in Italy on November 30, 2010, and peaked at number 6 on the Italian Albums Chart, receiving the Gold certification by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry. The international edition of the album was released on April 12, 2011, and was promoted in the United States with a performance during the final three results show of American Idol’s tenth season. The group sang “’O sole mio”, which was released as a single in the United States in early 2011. The album debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200 and at number 1 on the Classical Albums, selling 23,000 copies in its first week.

-Intro to Il Volo

For those of you that don’t know anything about the Italian trio, you may be surprised to know that they didn’t know each other until only 4 years ago. These talented men started their career in 2009 on Ti Lascio Una Canzone, a music television show in Italy. During the competition, the three singers were chosen to perform the Neapolitan classic “O sole mio”. After the competition, they continued to perform together under the names “Tre Tenori”, “The Tryo”, “Il Trio”, and finally in the fall of 2010,  ”Il Volo” (which translates to “the flight” in Italian). Seeing how positively people were taking to Piero Barone, Gianluca Ginoble, and Ignazio Boschetto as a whole, producers Tony Renis and Humberto Gatica decided to work on a album. Il Volo is the first Italian group to sign an American label! These young men that don’t even reach 21 yet, are going very far, very soon.
